Omar Ortiz

Born in Jalisco, Mexico, Omar Ortiz has always been interested in drawing and illustration. During his studies he learned different techniques such as hand drawing, pastels, charcoal, water colors, acrylics and airbrushing. A quote from the artist “Since I started painting I have always tried to represent things as real as I can. Sometimes I succeed and some others I don´t but it´s a fact that it is very difficult for me to do otherwise. I enjoy the challenge of reproducing skin tones and it´s nuances under natural light, particularly in bright conditions. I like simplicity in my pieces since I believe that excesses make us more poor rather than rich.”

Boy Kong

A Florida resident all his my life Boy Kong has always love drawing and working with his hands. His art is his personal craft, a craft he is proud to share with the people.  No one really taught him how to use a pencil or brushes to create images; it was just a way for him to distract himself.
