Mike Dargas began to paint as a child. As he grew up he studied different techniques. Inspired by such artists as Dali and Caravaggio his work often deals with surrealism and realism. The artist studies his subject with great intensity in order to create a impeccable image of the subject.  The subjects of his work are people in his everyday life from young and old to the fragile and strong people.
