Chris Musina

Chris Musina is a Canadian artist whose work focuses on animal representation, specifically its darker aspects. A quote from the artist  " I am obsessed with things like terror management theory, ecofacism, and post-humanities. I feel a tinge of both excitement and disgust when I experience garbage in otherwise pristine wilderness. I appreciate the aesthetics of macabre opulence and gruesome realities, and love places where darkness intersects with beauty and weird humor. It is from this vantage point that I think about our relationships with animals, and our animal selves."
